Field Trip at Kaeng Krachan National Park

On January 17th and 18th, 2024, LFIB and the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand (BCST) organized an ornithological field trip for the 5ème A students at Kaeng Krachan National Park. Located between the provinces of Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan, this park is home to the greatest biological diversity in Thailand, boasting the highest number of bird species, including migratory birds.

The students, divided into two groups with each having their bilingual guide, had the opportunity to observe a total of 93 species (combining both groups) over these two days. You can check the complete list of observed species, compiled by BCST guides, by following this link: https://ebird.org/tripreport/195875

The students expressed their delight and all demonstrated a keen interest in this activity, which they were experiencing for the first time. This experience also played a role in strengthening the bonds among the students.
