The CURLAY team wins the French contest of the European statistics competition 2022-2023.

On Monday March 27, 2023, the jury of the European statistics competition met by videoconference to evaluate the work carried out by the qualified teams at the end of the first round. The jury is made up of representatives of the competition partners: the Ministry of National Education and Youth; the French Statistical Society (SFDS); the City of Economy; and INSEE.

Ninety-two teams were qualified to pass the second test. Not all of them went to the end of the exercise which consisted in producing a work of analysis of statistical data on the theme “the wage gap between women and men”. Thus, the jury examined forty-six copies.

The jury was attentive to the clarity and relevance of the objectives sought in the analysis, the quality of the analysis of the information, the conclusion and the overall form of the presentation.

Also taking into account the points obtained by the teams during the first round, the jury appointed:

the CURLAY team winning the French stage of the European statistics competition 2022-2023. This team from the French International School in Bangkok is made up of 3 students supervised by their economics and social sciences teacher.
