To celebrate UNESCO’S World Book Day on 23rd April, students and staff at LFIB have shared their ‘Favourite Read’. Ms Goldman’s English and English Literature students in 6eme and 5eme have designed jackets for their favourite books, with recommendations to inspire others to pick up their chosen novel. Teachers have also created posters describing their favourite titles (and showcasing their favourite places to read!) from a range of genres including fantasy, horror, realism, non-fiction, and children’s literature.

We know that reading promotes literacy and academic success, but also hugely benefits mental health and teaches empathy for others. We hope this project will give students and teachers plenty of ideas for their next book.
