To commemorate UNESCO’s World Poetry Day on 21st March, English Literature students in 5eme, 4eme, 3eme, and 2nde have written and animated poems based on the themes they have explored this year. 5eme have experimented with the Gothic genre, producing poems that are inspired by all things mysterious and macabre; 4eme have written about the power of words in a range of different contexts – real and digital; 3eme have been inspired by their IGCSE studies to write poems about man and nature, while 2nde have focused on the theme of masks, in its many guises.
