For Thierry Mathou, the French ambassador, the outside walls of the embassy had to be a showcase offering to the sight of all the symbols of the long-lasting and friendly relationship between France and Thailand.
The result: an original artwork composed of more than twenty paintings displayed on the walls of the French Embassy in Bangkok. These paintings highlight the diversity of Franco-Thai relations and the many links between our two countries.
Inaugurated on Thursday, February 17, these original works were created by the teams of “Restaurateurs sans Frontières” under Robert Bougrain-Dubourg direction and produced in collaboration with students from the Poh Chang Academy of Arts.
Along with each painting is a QR code that leads to an audio explanation, written and recorded by students from the Lycée Français International de Bangkok (LFIB).
This project received the help and support of some of the most important French companies operating in Thailand, such as Saint-Gobain or Dextra, who brought their French expertise to complete the project.
