Excellent results IGCSE

The LFIB would like to congratulate all its students for their excellent results in the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) English Literature examinations.

Students have been preparing for this qualification since September 2018, with their teacher Ms. Dru Goldman, and finally sat the exams in November 2020. With the results released last week, we are very pleased to announce that all of our 18 student candidates have successfully passed the IGCSE certification exam, with half the class achieving the very top grades of A* and A.

The success of our candidates continues to exceed Cambridge’s global levels, surpassing the international pass rate of 88% this year. It shows that the LFIB offers paths of excellence in the English language.

Indeed, the IGCSE is the most renowned certification in the world for young people between 14 and 16 years old. It is recognised by the best universities as well as by many international companies. For many, it is a passport to an international career.
